Sneak Mend Addon

Mods / Addons / Mods 1.26

Relying on random XP orbs to fix your mending gear is honestly pretty frustrating. You finally set up a mob farm or go mining for quartz, and half the experience just gets absorbed by your armor or goes straight into your level bar instead of the almost-broken pickaxe you are actually trying to save. Sneak Mend fixes this by letting you manually pump your stored XP directly into your damaged tools. You don't have to awkwardly juggle items in your hotbar while running around picking up orbs anymore.

As long as the item has the Mending enchantment on it, you just hold it, crouch, and hold down the use button while looking up at the air (just make sure you aren't pointing directly at a block). You can actively watch your XP bar slowly drain while the tool's durability goes back up.

The mechanics are super precise, too. The addon automatically stops pulling your levels the exact second the item is fully repaired, so you never accidentally waste any of your hard-earned experience. It’s a very small quality-of-life tweak, but it makes standard survival gameplay significantly less annoying, and the tap-and-hold setup works perfectly fine if you are playing on mobile instead of PC.

Installation Mod:
- Download the .mcaddon / .mcpack;
- Open the file to import into the game;
- In World Settings → Resource Packs and Behavior Packs, enable it (turn on Experiments if needed);
- Have fun!
