xCritical Damage Addon

Mods / Addons / Mods 1.26

Let's be honest, combat in Minecraft Bedrock gets pretty stale after a while. You always know exactly how many hits it takes to drop a zombie or a skeleton. There's zero surprise involved. If you're tired of just spamming the attack button and want some actual unpredictability in your survival world, the xCritical Damage mod is exactly what you need. It completely breaks up that boring vanilla combat loop.

The concept is super simple but it genuinely changes how you fight. You don't have to learn any weird combo moves or time your jumps perfectly. Every single time you hit a mob, the game rolls a flat 5% chance for you to land a critical strike. And we aren't talking about a tiny bit of extra damage here. When that 5% chance hits, your base damage randomly multiplies by anywhere from 1.5x up to 3x.

It honestly makes early game survival so much better. You could just be swinging a basic iron sword, get lucky with the RNG, and suddenly hit with the force of a maxed-out Netherite weapon. Imagine getting cornered by a pack of creepers in a dark cave when you're low on health, and then a random 3x damage spike saves your run by instantly one-shotting the threat. It just makes grinding mobs way more fun because you never know when you're about to land a massive, game-saving hit. The script works on every single entity in the game too, so clearing dungeons and fighting bosses actually feels chaotic and fresh without completely ruining the balance of your save.

Installation Mod:
- Download the .mcaddon / .mcpack;
- Open the file to import into the game;
- In World Settings → Resource Packs and Behavior Packs, enable it (turn on Experiments if needed);
- Have fun!
