Slugdrock (Slugterra Addon)

The Slugdrock addon brings the underground world of Slugterra straight into Minecraft Bedrock, letting you collect powerful creatures and blast them out of custom launchers. It’s a massive overhaul for cave exploration that completely changes how you approach survival combat.

If you grew up watching the animated show, you know exactly how awesome this setup is. Instead of just dodging creepers in the dark, you’ll be hunting down unique slugs hiding throughout deep caverns. To build your squad, you'll need to craft a Kibble Oven to bake custom treats for taming them. You start out with a basic Slingshot to fire your ammo early on, but the real goal is crafting the heavy-duty Slug Launcher. You can even customize its color using a water cauldron and dyes to match your character skin. The mod includes a functional Reload Tube mechanic too, forcing you to manage your shots during chaotic fights rather than just spamming projectiles.



Catching and leveling your roster requires actual prep work at your home base rather than just spamming bones like you do with vanilla wolves. Everything revolves around the Slugdex, an in-game guidebook that tracks spawn biomes, base stats, evolution requirements, and specific culinary cravings for every species you encounter. To win over the rarest underground critters, you have to fire up a custom Kibble Oven, harvest crops, and bake targeted treats that raise their loyalty and mature them into absolute powerhouses. When your backpack gets too crowded before a deep raid, you can drop your extra companions off inside a dedicated Slug Nursery block where they chill safely until your next loadout swap.

Actual firefights down at deepslate level feel super tactical because different species bring totally distinct projectile physics to the table. Hop Rock slugs give you explosive area-of-effect utility for clearing cramped tunnels or blasting back swarms of zombies, while the energy-based Fu Slug lets you mentally steer the shot mid-flight. Guiding a live projectile around a basalt pillar to snipe a hiding opponent during an SMP turf war is the ultimate flex. Just remember to keep a Reload Tube handy in your hotbar so you can scoop up your exhausted team after a barrage and get them back into the chamber before a Creeper closes the gap.

Running custom projectile trajectories and animated pet entities across MCPE, console, and Windows PC clients doesn't tank your frame rate either. Both the behavior pack and resource pack are lightweight enough to handle rapid-fire skirmishes without lagging out mobile touchscreens. Import the .mcaddon files into your client, enable the Beta APIs toggle in your world's experimental settings, and head underground to build out your ultimate slinger arsenal.
