Having a pint-sized sidekick handle your tedious survival chores sounds like a dream until skipping his afternoon snack turns him into a wall-smashing demon. Inspired by YouTuber Omenaso, the Omedweller addon flips Minecraft Bedrock survival on its head by pairing genuine companion utility with relentless dweller-style horror.

Right when you boot up a fresh seed, you get paired with Omebuddy, a ridiculously tanky companion packing 5,000 HP who loyally shadows your every move across the Overworld. Hand him a sword, and he instantly steps up as your personal bodyguard, trading hits with hostile mobs so you never have to sweat early-game skirmishes. Even better, you can put him to work as an automated resource gathering crew. Toss him an axe, pickaxe, or shovel, and he'll sprint out across a massive 200-block radius to haul back an entire clean stack of logs, stone, dirt, or sand directly to your feet. If you ever lose track of him while exploring a ravine, a simple whistle crafted from two diagonal gold ingots teleports him right back to your coordinates.

The catch? You’re on strict babysitting duty. Omebuddy runs on a tight emotional schedule and demands two cookies every single in-game day—one in the morning and one before nightfall. Forget his morning treat before midday, and your sweet sidekick morphs into the bloodthirsty Omedweller at noon sharp. Miss the evening snack, and midnight becomes an absolute bloodbath. Once the transformation hits, this isn't just an angry mob with extra health; it’s an agile predator that tears straight through solid blocks to track your scent. Between multiple heavy-hitting attack animations and zero chill, you have to kite, dodge, and survive a suffocating 60-second hunt before the monster despawns and resets back to his friendly self.



If you’re feeling reckless or looking to troll your friends on a multiplayer Realm, you can even trigger the nightmare on command. Blowing the whistle more than four times in a row instantly angers him, or you can craft a cursed Ometeddy out of wool and a diamond to force an immediate boss fight.
