ZC Storage Network Mod is for the kind of survival world where your base slowly turns into a chest maze and you’re tired of playing “where did I put the iron” every session. To actually use the network, you’ve got the Storage Terminal, which is basically your main access point. It lets you pull items like a simple storage chest, just smarter, and the mod warns you to keep it clean: place it near the Cargo Box only once, because multiple terminals may cause lag. That’s a real survival tip right there—if you’re building a long-term base, treat the terminal like your “one true storage screen” and don’t spam terminals around your house like decorations.



Connecting everything happens through Storage Cable and Storage Cable Connect, which act as the bridge between your chests and the Cargo Box. Once that’s in place, you can start attaching the heavy lifters: the Simple Storage Chest, which comes with a huge 500 slots. That’s not just “a bit more storage,” that’s “I can finally breathe” storage, especially if you’re mining a lot, farming big, or doing constant build projects. You can place multiple of these chests and still manage everything from one place, which is the whole quality-of-life win here. It also mentions you can click the chest anytime to send it back safely, which sounds perfect for keeping your base tidy when you rearrange or move storage around.

The real flex is the Storage Remote, since it gives you access to your storage from unlimited distance. That means your items don’t feel glued to your base anymore. You’re out mining, exploring, or stuck far away doing some risky run, and you can still reach your network. Practical survival tip: this makes long trips way less annoying, because you’re not forced to “go home just to drop stuff off” every time your inventory fills up.

Setup is meant to be quick: place the Cargo Box, place the Storage Terminal on the Cargo Box, use Storage Cable Connect on the Cargo Box, attach the Simple Storage Chest, then use the Storage Remote.
